Baufritz Eco Home

LUMA Integration delivered the complete electrical and smart home installation for this new Baufritz residence in North London, bringing lighting, heating, cooling and external shading together through a KNX control system.

Working alongside NALC – The Norwich Architectural Lighting Company, who developed the lighting design, we installed and commissioned a predominantly DALI-based lighting control system. Jung KNX controls and matching socket accessories were used throughout the home, providing a consistent and refined finish while giving the client intuitive control of the building.

We also worked closely with ATI to install the structured cable infrastructure required to support the property's Savant home technology system, CCTV network and dedicated cinema room, ensuring the necessary infrastructure was coordinated and integrated into the electrical installation from the outset.

Separate plant areas serving the main residence and swimming pool were incorporated into the installation, with KNX providing integrated control of the home's heating and cooling systems alongside the lighting and external shutters.

The result is a highly integrated home where the electrical, environmental and technology systems work quietly behind the architecture, while remaining flexible, serviceable and straightforward to use.
