The beginning
Capricorn Electrical Services founded
Jamie qualified as an electrician and started the business, taking on traditional domestic and commercial electrical installations.
LUMA Integration grew out of a working electrician's bench, and a genuine enjoyment of the projects where lighting, technology and electrical systems are part of the design.
I've been an electrician since 2004, and I've spent the years since following the work I enjoy most.
I'm Jamie Doe, and I founded Capricorn Electrical Services in 2004. What began as traditional electrical installations gradually evolved, project by project, into architectural lighting, smart home integration and KNX systems, as clients asked for more and the work grew more considered. LUMA Integration was created to focus on that side of the business, and the type of projects we enjoy working on most: high-end residential homes where lighting, technology and electrical systems are considered as part of the overall design rather than fitted around it.
Personal, considered and technically capable, with a genuine interest in the homes we work on.
We work closely with homeowners, architects, interior designers and developers, listening properly before we specify anything.
Lighting, technology and electrical systems are considered as part of the overall design, not added at the end.
Open standards like KNX, quality components and meticulous installation, so a home stays reliable and adaptable for decades.
The real measure of our work is a home that's both technically capable and genuinely a pleasure to live in.
We'd love to hear about your home and what you're hoping to achieve. Every project starts with a conversation.
